Ivory & Tori def. Sable & Jacqueline (with Terri Runnels)

Entering the arena (in GLOW outfit!) Ivory strikes a formidable biceps pose. Once in the ring she immediately begins tearing Jacqueline up and gives her opponent no mercy or quarter. After throwing Jackie around and pretty much having her way with her, Ivory tags Tori and when Terri Runnels lights a cigar ostentatiously, Ivory decides to chase Runnels around for the burn she received last night. Not thinking about her partner Ivory leaves the arena chasing Terri all the way to the backstage area. Meanwhile Sable, not eager to fight Tori, smacks her own partner from behind with the WWF Women’s Championship. Tori pins Jackie and get the win for herself and Ivory.

WWF Tag Team Championship:
Jarrett/Hart def. D’Lo/Test

Ivory confronted by Debra, Terri Runnels, Jacqueline and Test

Wearing a bandage where Terri Runnels earlier that evening (on Heat) burned her face Ivory did not make a wrestling appearance at Wrestlemania XV, but she did appear with D’Lo Brown for the tag team championship match between D’Lo/Test and the tag team champions Jarrett/Hart.

Just about the time D’Lo looked like he just might be able to sneak in the win, Debra went into action. She got up on the ring apron to distract Brown only to be pulled down by Ivory. Both women began a heated argument. As if that wasn’t enough action, Terri Runnels and Jacqueline came out to add their two cents worth into the conversation and Test too cut into the discussion.

The ref apparently decided that these events deserved particular attention, thereby allowing Owen and Jarrett to double-team D’Lo. Jarrett covered and the champs retained their titles .

Once the match was over Ivory explained to Test in no uncertain terms his place was to be in the corner and that she could take care of herself. About that time D’Lo came down from the ring and both men briefly brawled at ringside.

The announcers hype the fact that Ivory holds a victory over Jacqueline. Indeed, a month earlier on Heat rookie Ivory made a statement with a sensational clear victory over former champion Jacqueline. Now it is Ivory’s chance to show Jackie once and for all what she’s able to… Fast paced match. Ivory, in a revealing purple bikini, attacked by Jackie with kicks and a snap mare. Terri Runnels joins the announce team as Jackie powerslams Ivory. “Ivory’s in trouble beccause she even doesn’t know how to dress”, Terri means. Back drop by Ivory countering a powerbomb, and two legdrops to follow it up. Irish whip and a powerslam for a two count on Jackie. Jackie backed into the corner and beaten by Ivory. Kick to the gut and a back suplex by Jackie. That’s all Jackie needs to take Ivory out of the match and take the win. Post-match Jackie attacks Ivory, Terri Runnels comes in and burns Ivory with the tip of her lit cigar. Tori runs out to stop any further damage from PMS. The meds check on Ivory following her cigar burn.

Lisa “Ivory” Moretti, a portrait in 25 lines

Lisa Moretti a.k.a. Ivory a.k.a. Tina/Nina Ferrari is one of the most versatile American pro-wrestlers of all time. An excellent in-ring worker, in her time one of the best. Her athleticism was phenomenal and pound for pound she must ‘ve been one of the strongest female performers ever. That shows just a small part of her talent. Her mic work is generally highly appreciated and… feared. She shined in widely divergent roles, but even her extremely hated Right To Censor character couldn’t hide the beautiful woman she is. As a spokeswoman she represented WWE in India, Kuwait, the UK, at election rallies, on formal occasions etc. Ivory served as a trainer at Ohio Valley Wrestling and in the television series Tough Enough 2 & 3. She co-hosted the weekly television show WWE Experience. Earlier she hosted Saturday Night Heat and commentated Wrestlemania All Day Long all day long. Her loyalty, her fellow-feeling, her unpretentiousness, her unselfishness, her inquisitiveness do her honour and lends lustre to her achievements. A born performer for sure, she’s not addicted to the attention from media and the glitter of tv. An extremely strong champion.
